Four Seasons Hotel Wedding

January 6, 2013

I can’t believe a week has past since my wedding at 4 Seasons hotel! Months and months of preparation all leading up to this grand day. It was really a whirlwind affair, memorable no doubt because I have been talking non-stop about it to anyone who wants to listen! I have so much to blog about that I don’t even know where to start, which is kind of the reason why one week has elapsed without me writing anything.

I’ll get round to detailing everything, but for now I’m revelling in my regained free time! It’s back to binging again during the weekends, swimming during daylight hours without fearing getting tanned, and just basically having more time to catch up on my favourite activities like blogging and baking!

For now, let me leave you with photos of the Four Seasons Wedding Lunch Banquet. Photos are all courtesy of my official wedding photographer Daniel Beh. Absolutely love love love the Four Seasons Ballroom, with its full length windows on one side. It’s a cosy size too, high ceiling without any pillars, max tables is 32, but we had a really comfortable and spacious ballroom with only 22 tables. I have to count my lucky stars that we managed to get this beautiful ballroom without having to guarantee a much higher table count. I am itching for someone to get married at Four Seasons and invite me so that I can relive the memories again! Smile Smile Smile

At Four Seasons, you get plated service, which I find to be a nice touch. Also, you won’t find Sharks’ Fin on the menu here. Many of our guests commented that the food tasted better than most weddings and for that I am really happy and thankful. Food portion was a bit of a grey area though, some people said they were full to bursting while some said they could have done with more. You look at the pictures and decide.

I agree it was a very beautiful ballroom;) I wanted to have my wedding here but had to change hotel as it was already booked for the date I wanted. Food was good too;) really enjoyed it:)

    • I am looking forward to the Food Tasting when I can finally enjoy the meal, although I’m likely to choose the exact opposite of what we had for the lunch! Hur hur hur!

  2. Congrats again to you Dawn and partner 🙂
You really are a classic food blogger, Food photos will always come before the guests haha 🙂

May you feel your new milestone with lots of love and sweet memories 🙂
    cheers, Andy (SengkangBabies)

    • Thanks Andy! Not classic food blogger, classic SHY blogger. Not sure if I want to post my wedding pic? Anyway you saw my wedding pic via my Facebook right?

  3. For a while there I thought you were still “working” thru your wedding, taking photos of the food and all, til I saw the credits!

    Congrats on your wedding!

    • Thank you! Nah, I was too busy being in 10 places at once and i didn’t even eat half my dishes!

  4. Congrats on your wedding! Thanks for sharing comments of Four Seasons Hotel Wedding. We are very interested in this hotel. Just wondering what you mean by having only 22 tables without having to guarantee a much higher table count? For weekends, the min table count is 25 ya? Which food menu did you choose? I have only 20 table so i just wonder how you manage to get fewer tables.. Can negotiate with them?

    • Thanks!! And congratulations to you on your upcoming wedding! Hmmmm… I was under the impression that 4 Seasons hotel’s minimum guarantee is 20 tables. Mine is a lunch, dinner could be a higher guarantee. You most definitely should bargain, but I have to say that 4 Seasons is very hard to budge as compared to other hotels. They know their worth, well that is what they always tell me…still you should try, you never know. The food menu that I chose is exactly what you see in the pictures!

  5. Congrats on your wedding! Thanks for sharing comments of Four Seasons Hotel Wedding. Who was your wedding coordinator from four seasons? We are looking into the possibility of doing a wedding lunch too. Can you PM your schedule?

    • Thanks and congratulations to you too. My coordinator was Kaylynn. Sorry I prefer to keep my schedule private. If you need any advice, just let me know the question and I’ll try to answer.
