Kluang Tour by Zenxin Organic Park

I had a really exciting, eventful and memorable day on Saturday last week. Zenxin Organic Park organises day trips out of Singapore to their park as well as local sights in Kluang, Malaysia. On behalf of my company’s recreation club (where I am a volunteer member), I organized this tour for my colleagues. Look at the jammed pack itinerary below. At $65, I thought it was good value for money.

07.30        Participants board coach at Lavender
08.00        Arrival at Singapore Checkpoint
11.00        Arrival at Zenxin Organic Park
11.15        Special Farm-Guided Tour
12.00        Lunch at Zenxin Chef-Garden Restaurant (Chinese meal set)
12.45        Free & Easy Shopping at Zenxin Farm Mart, Flower Nursery & Fish Feeding Program
13.30        Proceed to Kluang City Tour, Buying local famous cookies- Tau Sah Piah, Handmade Noodle and coffee time at Kluang Railway station
16.00        Visit L.A Dairy Goat Farm
17.30        Back to Zenxin Farm – "Be an organic farmer" Program (Harvesting)
18.00        Dinner at Zenxin Chef Garden restaurant (Steamboat)
19.00        Leave Zenxin Farm
22:00        Estimated Time of Arrival back to SG Lavender MRT Station

We had an initial scare in the morning when the bus driver did not arrive. For some reason, we were unable to get through to his M’sian HP number and we thought he’d absconded! We only found him at 8.15am parked in some ulu location after a colleague decided to try his luck down some back alley.

Other than that, the rest of the day went superbly. I really enjoyed seeing Malaysia in the company of my lively colleagues. It certainly is very different from touring with my parents or the Partner. I am so inspired to do a grand tour of Malaysia. It is just next to Singapore yet I have experienced but a speck of it.
