365days2playBudding scientists, have you wondered how it would like to study in the Science faculty of NUS? Now’s your chance!!
The Science Discovery Camp, developed for students from 14 to 17 years old, is aimed at piquing the interest of students in science and showcasing how science concepts are applied in the real world, for example in the research and fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
During the programme, conducted ”live” over Zoom, participants will also
- be guided to build their own spectroscope (the experiment kit will be mailed to all participants)
- learn how to build models using high school mathematics,
- gain insights into epidemic spread and control.
This programme is taught by experienced professors from the NUS Faculty of Science, and will also provide science enthusiasts with a teaser of how the discipline is taught at NUS.
