Here’s my annual list of places that are open during the CNY period! Hope you find it useful. If the supermarket or shopping centre in Orchard road is not listed here, it’s because the information is not available! You can also check last year’s guide, 2013 guide or 2012 guide for reference.

Supermarkets
NTUC
- CNY Eve (18 Feb) — Most stores close at 5pm.
- 1st Day (19 Feb) — Most stores closed.
- 2nd Day (20 Feb ) — Some stores open as per usual, some close at 5pm.
- 3rd Day (21 Feb) — Open as usual
- Some stores open 24hr throughout : Bedok, Clementi, Siglap, Geylang, Jurong East, Seng Kang etc

- CNY Eve (18 Feb) — Most stores close at 7pm
- 1st Day (19 Feb) — Most stores open to 9pm
- 2nd Day (20 Feb ) — Mostly normal hours

- Some stores open 24 hr throughout : Holland Village, Jelita, Rail Mall etc
