Are you a fan of Shake Shack? You will be glad to know that Shake Shack will be opening its 9th Fine Casual restaurant in Bishan at Junction 8. It’s directly outside the Bishan MRT interchange station on the ground floor.
This bright and cheery outlet boasts 2 storeys, and is decked out in an indoor-outdoor mural by Singaporean artist Aeropalmics, inspired by the high energy of the Bishan neighbourhood and the connectivity of the Bishan MRT interchange station. 1st 100 guests will receive exclusive Shake Shack swag items eg jigsaw puzzle showcasing Aeropalmics’ artwork.
As always, there will be an exclusive item to each Shake Shack outlet. This time round, it’s Who 8 My Cookie?, a creamy vanilla custard (Shake Shack calls them Concretes) blended with rich caramelized cookies and chunks of Lemuel Chocolate. I’ve tried other Concretes and they are always such a decadent affair, being studded generously with those Lemuel chocolates.
5% of sales from the Shack Attack concrete will be donated to REACH Community Service Society in Bishan. REACH is a local charity that helps and empowers vulnerable individuals, families, youths and seniors.
And if you didn’t already know what Shake Shack is….. Shake Shack is a modern day “roadside” burger stand known for its 100% all-natural Angus beef burgers, chicken sandwiches and flat-top Vienna beef dogs (no hormones – ever), spun-fresh frozen custard, crinkle-cut fries, craft beer, and wine and more. They have outlets all over Singapore including at Jewel, Gardens by the Bay, Great World City, Suntec City, Vivocity and Westgate.
