Fans of Tayo The Little Bus or indoor playgrounds, you will be happy to note that Tayo Station has recently opened a 2,000 sqft pop-up outlet at City Square Mall level B2. The pop-up will be around until 31 December 2020.
The Tayo Station pop-up, is smaller than its original Tayo Station outlet at Downtown East, however the pricing has been made more affordable. Each 2 hour slot costs $15 on weekdays and $18 on weekends. Not too bad a pricing if your kiddos just want a couple of hours of play. In any case, due to Covid-19 most indoor playground are only offering a 2 or 3 hour block of play time anyway. Safe-distancing measures stipulate that the maximum capacity in the play area is 14 pax.
And if your kids are 5 or above, Tayo Station also offers a drop-off service. Very convenient, especially for parents that want to shop at Don Don Donki next door! The Don Don Donki at City Square mall features a huge fresh food supermarket area with many Japanese items that are not commonly found in the usual local supermarkets.
So what are the things that the kids can play at the Tayo Station Pop-Up?
- Table play area with toy cars and trains
- Vehicle Road circuit to drive around
- Mini climbing wall and slides
- Mega building blocks
- Large ball pit
There is also a small retail section retailing Pororo the little Penguin as well as Tayo the little Bus toy merchandise if you’re interested in that.
Scroll down to see how much fun Edward had! We spent almost 2 hours here and would have wanted to stay longer if not for time constraints.
The road circuit was a big hit for Edward, and at one point several kids and Edward were all trying to chase each other. So cute!
The ball pit was also a huge hit!
