Crossroads at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel – The international buffet is back!

The International buffet spread at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel’s Crossroads is back! One of the more convenient hotels to get to as it’s smack above the Orchard Road MRT Station, you can enjoy Western and Asian dishes, with many that pay homage to Singapore’s food heritage. There are a total of 8 food stations to make your way through, including a Plant-based section.

The Seafood on Ice section is always a huge draw with everyone. Find Poached Slipper Lobster, Boston Lobster, New Zealand Green Lipped Mussel, Poached River Prawn and Steamed Whelk, served on rotation.

If you want to sample Singapore’s local hawker culture, make sure you don’t miss out on the roast meats section featuring Roast Pork, Roast Duck and Char Siew. There’s also an Asian noodle bar where you can custom make your own noodle dish such as prawn noodle or laksa.

The beauty of indulging in a buffet is you can have Roast Beef and Sticky BBQ Por Ribs together with Ee Fu Noodles!

Fill up on more protein at the Carving Station where you will find dishes such as Mustard Crusted Wagyu Rump, Moroccan Spiced Lamb Shoulder, Sticky BBQ St. Louis-style Pork Rib, Rolled Pork Saddle, and more. In my opinion, the best dish of the entire buffet has to be the Sticky BBQ Pork Ribs. The meat was fork tender and I just loved the generous amount of the sweet sticky sauce.

At the dessert section you will find a good mix of Western cakes such as Raspberry Milk Chocolate Cake, Pistachio Strawberry Tart, Bread & Butter Pudding and Asian desserts such as Cheng Tng, Peach Gum with White Fungus and Lotus Seed, and more. The cakes have been cut into small squares so that it’s easy to try every single flavour that’s been laid out.
